Downloading the browser extension

  1. Visit the Chrome Web Store in your Chrome or Edge browser.
  2. Download and install the Byteseal Extension.

Setting up your profile and adding passwords

  1. Open the installed extension.
  2. Enter your phone number, OTP and a 4-digit master PIN of your choice to create your Byteseal account.

<aside> <img src="/icons/info-alternate_red.svg" alt="/icons/info-alternate_red.svg" width="40px" /> Please note that the 4-digit master PIN is never stored on our servers or anywhere else. Therefore, it is impossible to recover the PIN if you lose access to it. Make sure to securely store the PIN to prevent any loss.

  1. Click on the ➕Add New button.
  2. Enter the website name, URL and your login credentials which you want to store with Byteseal.
